- He absolutely should not be punished! He did not take the tool to school with the slightest thought of hurting someone. That was not in his heart so why punish the boy for something he never intended to do in the first place.

- Absolutely ridiculous. Our justice system is way too over righteous. This man shouldve been helped, put in a rehabilitation program, not prison. I hope his sentence is overturned one day. It is cruel and unusual punishment. Especially for stealing food. He probably was hungry.
Iraqi shoe thrower has a broken arm and ribs and cuts to his eye and arm. He is being transferred for “further interrogation” to investigate who is behind his act.

- That guy needs to learn to be heard without all the aggression. I'm sadden to learn he was injured, beaten after taken into custody. Wrong after wrong after wrong. I think they beat him cause he made them look bad.
